Abel Kahsai is a computer science student at North Carolina State University, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a focus on computer software engineering. His interests center on blockchain technology, decentralized systems, smart contracts, and Web3.
Alongside his studies, Abel has gained hands-on experience in blockchain development, including building and deploying decentralized applications, developing Solidity-based smart contracts, and working with technologies such as Ethereum, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin, IPFS, and Ethers.js. His experience also spans data analysis, visualization, and digital infrastructure, with previous roles involving Power BI, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
As a Global Ambassador within The Digital Economist’s Digital Assets & Blockchain practice, Abel contributes to research, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional projects focused on the evolving digital asset and blockchain ecosystem. He brings a technical, research-oriented perspective to discussions on decentralized technologies and their emerging applications.
