About

Amii Barnard-Bahn is a corporate governance strategist, board advisor, and executive coach with more than two decades of experience leading culture, talent, ethics, and compliance in complex, highly regulated organizations. A former Fortune 5 executive who has served as CHRO, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer, she began her career as an employment litigator—a foundation that shaped her belief that high-performing organizations are built through clarity, courage, and consistent leadership. Amii has led large-scale culture and governance transformations at organizations including Allianz and McKesson’s $90B U.S. Pharma business, and has guided nonprofits through ethics and compliance integration.

In her advisory and coaching work, Amii supports Fortune 500 C-suite leaders navigating digital transformation, human capital strategy, and ethical leadership. She is the creator of the Promotability Index® Toolkit—described by Forbes as “a SWOT analysis for your career”—and a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches. Recognized as the #1 Global Thought Leader on Careers by Thinkers360, she contributes regularly to Harvard Business Review on executive presence, promotability, and ethical leadership. Earlier in her career, she also testified on the first US laws requiring women on corporate boards. As a Senior Executive Fellow in Applied Artificial Intelligence at The Digital Economist, Amii advises on organizational culture, governance frameworks, and executive development in the context of emerging technologies. She brings a pragmatic, human-centered perspective to advancing technology governance that aligns ethical leadership, regulatory expectations, and long-term enterprise value.
