About

Mellini Monique is a Voice Futurist and Voice AI ethicist working at the intersection of human vocal expression, emerging technologies, and institutional trust. She is the Founder of Voxversa, a Vocal Intelligence Atelier, and Vocal Culture Garden, where her work explores how voice functions as a catalyst for connection, creativity, productivity, and wellness—and how artificial voices are reshaping communication, culture, and credibility in AI-driven systems. Her practice treats voice as both a human interface and a critical layer of design, performance, and governance.

Across her role as Lead Pitch Performance Coach at SXSW, where she has shaped pitch performance standards and coached founders for high-stakes, global-stage presentations since 2020, and through advisory work with technology organizations and ethics initiatives—including the Linux Foundation Open Voice Network—Mellini operates where performance, vocal design, and responsible AI converge. Her experience spans enterprise coaching, ethical voice system design, experiential curation, and large-scale facilitation, guiding individuals and institutions to align expression, intention, and trust across both human and synthetic voices. As a Senior Executive Fellow in Applied Artificial Intelligence at The Digital Economist, Mellini contributes a distinctive perspective on voice as foundational infrastructure for accessibility, legitimacy, and human-centered AI. Grounded in decades of work across education, wellness, expressive arts therapy, and executive training, her leadership translates complex questions about AI ethics, embodiment, and communication into practices that honor humanity while shaping the future of human–AI interaction.
