Renaud Visage is a technology entrepreneur, investor, and venture capital leader focused on building a more efficient, resilient, and low-carbon economy. He is General Partner and Co-Founder of SlateVC, where he invests in and supports European growth-stage companies developing solutions for the energy and environmental transition. He has invested in more than 80 startups, including companies across climate technology, carbon management, energy, circularity, and sustainable infrastructure. His investment experience also spans enterprise software, cybersecurity, fintech, and other technology sectors.

Renaud previously co-founded Eventbrite and served as its Chief Technology Officer for 16 years, helping build the event technology company from its early stages into a publicly traded business. He has also served as a Venture Partner at Point Nine Capital and Index Ventures and as a Non-Executive Board Director at AB Tasty. His investment portfolio includes more than 15 climate technology companies, alongside numerous technology startups that have been acquired by companies including Atlassian, SAP, Vercel, Datadog, Deel, and CircleCI. Renaud began his career as an environmental engineer working on the remediation of polluted sites before moving into technology and entrepreneurship, giving his work in climate and sustainability a foundation in both environmental engineering and technology.
