He is the Founder of Savage Markets, where he develops market analysis and thought leadership examining the forces shaping global economies, financial markets, and the evolving role of technology in finance. His work is grounded in translating complex market dynamics into clear perspectives on the economic, regulatory, and technological shifts affecting institutions and investors.

Previously, Robert served as Global Head of Markets Strategy and Insights at BNY, leading a team of economists and strategists responsible for macro research and market commentary across foreign exchange, equities, and fixed income. During his tenure at BNY, he also led FX Sales Americas, combining macro strategy with institutional client engagement.
