About

Shivedita Singh is a climate and energy specialist with over six years of experience spanning engineering, renewable energy policy, ESG strategy, and systems-level sustainability transformation. She currently leads the RE100 initiative and state-level advocacy at Climate Group India, where she works to remove technical and regulatory procurement barriers for commercial and industrial energy consumers and accelerate the adoption of clean energy across India. Her background includes experience in process manufacturing, power grids, net-zero building design, and ESG strategy and reporting.

Her work sits at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and systems change. Shivedita contributes to research on Scope 3 decarbonization in the Asian fashion and textile sector, exploring how digital technologies—including blockchain—can strengthen traceability, accountability, and emissions transparency. Earlier in her career, she worked in engineering research, designing wastewater filtration systems and supporting policy recommendations through industry councils. She is also an active community builder, having co-founded initiatives focused on urban carbon solutions, building energy management, and mental health. As an Executive Fellow in Sustainability in Tech at The Digital Economist, Shivedita contributes applied insight on clean energy transitions, digital accountability tools, and climate policy implementation. Curious and versatile by nature, she remains committed to scalable, inclusive climate solutions and continues to explore the evolving intersections of technology, culture, and sustainability.
