Steven Freidmutter was an entrepreneur, investor, and board advisor with a focus on startups, venture capital, and business development across Africa and international markets. He was CEO of SF Ventures and held investment, advisory, and board roles across a diverse portfolio of companies and organizations in technology, fintech, commerce, property, healthcare, and entrepreneurship. His work included supporting early-stage businesses through investment, strategic guidance, governance, and access to growth opportunities.

Steven served as an Investor and Limited Partner at Launch Africa Ventures and held investor and advisory roles with companies including Digitech and IQPay. He was also an Investor, Advisor, and Board Member at Shiprazor; an Investor and Board Member at BoxCommerce; and Partner and Lead Investor at Ask Property. He co-founded Broken Hill Capital and served as Co-Founder and Board Chairman of Build Ventures Africa, as well as Chairman of the Board of Entrepreneurship Village. His portfolio spanned South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, and other African markets, reflecting a sustained commitment to entrepreneurship, investment, and business development across the continent.
