Bill Lesieur is a futurist, innovation strategist, and advisor specializing in artificial intelligence, emerging technology, corporate innovation, and strategic foresight. He is a Senior Executive Fellow at The Digital Economist, contributing to the Center of Excellence on Human-Centered Global Economy across areas including Applied AI, Blockchain & Digital Assets, Governance, Sustainability, and Policy. He is also an Ecosystem Collaboration & Startup Accelerator advisor with AI 2030, supporting startups in FinTech, LegalTech, and HealthTech through programs in partnership with AWS Activate and NVIDIA Inception. In addition, he is a Visiting Scientist and Digital Fellow at MIT Sloan School of Management, where his research has focused on the on-demand economy, platform business models, AI policy, labor law, and the future of work and society in the digital economy.

Bill has held innovation and strategic leadership roles at organizations including Accenture, Capgemini, Planet, and Synchrony Venture Management. At Accenture, he introduced foresight thinking and co-created the company's first futures innovation program, as well as the Shaping the Future Program focused on sustainable and equitable futures. At Capgemini, he led open innovation, corporate-to-startup matchmaking, and corporate venturing initiatives and established the company's corporate affiliation with the Stanford Digital Economy Lab and Human-Centered AI program. His earlier career includes research and advisory roles spanning technology, telecommunications, semiconductors, sustainability, clean technology, venture investing, and corporate strategy. He also serves as an investor with Gaingels and a startup mentor and venture advisor with Alchemist Accelerator and StartOut.
