David P. Main is a strategy advisor, Chairman, and CEO with more than 25 years of experience leading transformations, turnarounds, growth strategies, technology-driven business models, and ownership transitions across the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia. He is Chairman of Talisman Advisors, an independent strategy research and advisory practice working primarily with growth companies and family-owned businesses on strategy, growth, financing, and ownership transitions. His career includes senior operating and board roles across technology, consumer, healthcare, sports-tech, and other sectors, as well as his earlier tenure as a Partner at Bain & Company, where he co-founded the firm's Canadian office.

David is also a co-founder and former Vice Chairman of Topgolf, which he helped build into a global sports-tech entertainment business before its acquisition by Callaway. He has held CEO and Chairman positions at companies including Swets Information Services, Edanz Group, Aqua Service, and Standard Optical, leading restructurings, digital transformations, acquisitions, and business exits. His current advisory interests include technology and geopolitics, circular economy and ESG, ecosystem strategy, and the challenges facing family-owned businesses through periods of transition and growth.
