Kapil is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk leader with more than two decades of experience operating at the intersection of information security, governance, and institutional strategy. He currently leads Cyber & Strategic Risk Consulting at Deloitte, where he advises boards and executive leadership on cybersecurity transformation, identity risk, and enterprise resilience across highly regulated industries, including government, financial services, healthcare, and higher education. A recipient of the Cyber Under 40 award, Kapil is widely recognized for translating complex cyber risk into actionable, board-level decision frameworks.

Across his leadership and advisory roles, Kapil has contributed to shaping global cybersecurity and privacy discourse. He has served as Chapter Chair at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (New Jersey) and as Vice Chair for Cybersecurity Next Generation at IEEE, while advising platforms such as Harvard Business Review and contributing to MIT Sloan’s Cybersecurity Advisory Board. His work spans standards bodies, board governance forums, and global advisory councils focused on responsible AI, digital identity, and risk management.
