Sundar Krishnan is an artificial intelligence and data science leader with more than a decade of experience designing and scaling enterprise AI/ML systems across healthcare, telecommunications, and digital services. He is Director of AI/ML at Optimum, where he partners with executive leadership to align AI/ML strategy with business priorities, drive MLOps adoption, and lead teams of data scientists and ML engineers. Previously, he spent more than four years at CVS Health, where he led enterprise AI and data science initiatives, delivered large-scale programs across healthcare and customer operations, and developed production-grade synthetic data solutions and generative AI applications. His expertise spans machine learning, MLOps, large language models, cloud-native architectures, predictive analytics, synthetic data, and AI-driven automation.

Sundar has led initiatives that reduced operational costs, improved model deployment and development efficiency, and generated new opportunities for AI and data monetization. Earlier in his career, he held data science and AI/ML roles at Comcast, where he developed deep learning models, chatbot solutions, and cloud-based machine learning systems serving millions of subscribers. He is the author of Applied Data Science Using PySpark, a patented innovator in machine learning-based content classification, and the creator of the open-source Python package Xverse, which has been downloaded more than 750,000 times. He also serves as a Corporate Advisory Board Member at Oklahoma State University and mentors emerging practitioners and advises early-stage AI-focused startups through MassChallenge.
