Reid Jewett Smith, Ph.D., is a researcher and policy leader focused on disability inclusion, human rights, and the role of business in advancing equitable economic participation. She is Vice President of Research & Policy at Disability, where she leads research examining disability inclusion, accessibility, workforce participation, and the economic impact of the disability community. She is also a Carr-Ryan Center for Human Rights Policy Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and an Aspen Ideas Fellow, and serves as Board Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors of Invest Ahead. Reid holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction and Education Policy from Boston College, where she also served as an adjunct professor, and brings an interdisciplinary background spanning research, education, policy, and institutional leadership.
