About

Arvinder Singh Kang is a technology leader, AI/ML researcher, and GovTech transformation specialist working at the intersection of digital infrastructure, public-sector accountability, and global policy. With more than fifteen years of international experience across startups, enterprises, and public institutions, his work focuses on translating complex technologies—particularly artificial intelligence and data systems—into scalable, governable, and socially responsible outcomes grounded in systems thinking.

As Program Director of the Global Executive Fellowship at The Digital Economist, Arvinder convenes senior executives, policymakers, and technologists to develop actionable frameworks for AI governance, digital sovereignty, and economic policy. His leadership spans high-level global convenings, including summits aligned with the Davos Week, as well as the design of selective innovation programs supporting early-stage ventures operating at the frontier of public-interest technology. In parallel, Kang serves as Manager of System Analysis at British Columbia Lottery Corporation, where he leads cross-functional teams responsible for technical governance and platform stability across revenue-critical digital systems. Previously, he co-founded UrbanLogiq, a venture-backed GovTech company delivering geospatial analytics and machine-learning solutions to cities and public agencies across North America. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Mississippi, completed the Global Pre-MBA Leadership Program at the Yale School of Management, and is currently a PhD candidate focused on AI ethics and low-resource language model evaluation.
